The purpose of this video is to help you understand how to interpret the Pixel Helper data when you’re validating your Facebook Pixels in Google Chrome using the Facebook Pixel Helper.
This just helps you to understand how it fires off properly.
Now, what’s going to happen is, when you got Pixels on here, or a Pixel on here, I’ve got multiple Pixels, which I’ll get to in a moment.
But when you have a Pixel on here, what’s going to happen is, is a little green box is going to show or indicate the number of events that are being triggered on that page based on whatever Pixel or Pixels that you have installed on the page.
Right now, this is telling me that there are seven events firing correctly right now because that’s a green box.
Now, when we look into these things, what you’ll end up finding is I’ve got four different Pixels on this page. There’s a multitude of reasons behind that, I’m not going to get into that, it’s not the scope of this video.
But what you’ll see is there’s two, four, six, seven events. You see, this one doesn’t have the micro data stuff being automatically detected. There’s going to always be two different events that are going to fire and you will see something like this.
Sometimes it throws off a warning like this. I’m not really sure why that is like that, but as long as when you visit the page, you see the green box here, everything is fine.
Now, if you have any kind of issues with the Pixel firing off in your account and stuff like that, then it’s definitely going to be a tech issue and you’re going to have a lot of those kinds of tech issues that will come up when you’re using third-party apps, like Click Funnels, Lead Pages, WordPress.
You’ve got plugins and stuff like that. You want to make sure that you’re not double-coding your pages because if you go in and hard code the Pixel into the source and then you use a third-party plugin at the same time you put your Pixel in there, those two things will conflict with each other or cause problems in a variety of different ways.
You want to make sure that you’re not doing those kinds of things and just making sure that everything shows up all green on here.
If you’ve got one Pixel and it’s got two events like this, that’s not an issue. That’s normal. That’s how it’s supposed to look.
